PROJAR began with a warehouse in Valencia, the current headquarters, and today has four delegations strategically located in Murcia, Almeria, Madrid and Malaga and a sales network covering almost the entire national territory.
Our headquarters and delegations act as a meeting point with the customer at a time that the logistics platform to effectively cover all points of the Spanish geography, serving more than 6,000 customers currently held.
In addition, the Group has been internationalized, to acquire a company in Sri Lanka, its subsidiary Christo Horticulture Ltd, which processes base substrate with coconut fiber globally.
PROJAR believes the RDi (Research, Development and Innovation) as an important factor for growth and consolidation of the company, which is why since our inception we work in the field of innovation in response to market needs. Our philosophy is that you can only grow pioneering the latest trends.
At present time PROJAR is a consolidated company, with a turnover of 16 million euros in the year 2007, a staff of almost 100 people, with extensive experience in the company, a catalog of products that exceed the 7,000 references and a picture of solvency and quality recognized in the market.
PROJAR right now has at one´s disposal two main business areas: Professional Growing and Environment.
In the growing areas, we bring to customers all the experience gained from years of work and direct contact with growers to advise and provide the best solution to professional growers. Our wide product range covering all the fields in production plant, being specialists in: seedlings, ornamental, forest and fruit-tree hydroponics, by offering the best alternative: mobs and substrates, hydroponics system, fertilizer and fertilization, material irrigation systems, grafting systems, growing roots, and plant anchoring, growing media, transport and packaging, labeling, air conditioning, agrotextiles, measuring apparatus, crop tables, machinery, backpacks and repellent spray and greenhouses painting.
The Environment department advise and provide technical solutions both in the writing phase project as being implemented in the work areas of Professional Landscaping and Erosion Control. We offer the customer a wide variety of products for establishing and maintaining green areas: coverage materials, waterproofing and drainage, protecting trees, borders, barren binders, pavements, grass, artificial turf, anchorages and subjection, covered cork-soled clog, concealment material.
Also we have a high range of products for the renewal of the natural environment and erosion control, this allows us to propose the most suitable solution according to the needs of the project: machinery, hydroseeding products, organic and synthetic systems for erosion control, slopes stabilization, visual integration treatments.
We are active members of the Association for International Erosion Control (IECA) and the Association of Conservators of Landscape and Environment (ASERPYMA) as well as the Professional Association of Flowers, Plants and Horticultural Technology of the Community of Valencia ( ASFPLANT) and the Spanish Association of Manufacturers-Exporters of Agricultural Machinery, Components and Irrigation Systems (AGRAGEX) through which we are informed and we implement the most advanced techniques in this sector.
